What it do?

So yesterday was Easter. I had fun with my family down in Albert Lea for the morning. For the occasion I made banana chocolate chip bread and fruit salad. Delish. Tim sent me an Easter video of him singing Suspicious Minds which was pretty funny so I showed all of the relatives. Haha, Tim is such a dork, but I love him.

After the lovely time had by all at G and G's, I drove back to hang out with Amanda. Well, we were planning on getting something to eat, but everywhere was pretty much closed, and we weren't very hungry anyway. She had a sucky morning, so we were just kind of hanging out until we had to go pick her husband up from the airport. When we got back we decided to walk down the street and chill out at the Onion. Well, it was all fine and good until we got our drinks, two mojitos. They tasted like butt! Well, actually more like soda water with a little mint. The waitress didn't offer us a different one, so we just ate the cheesy bread and stubbornly refused to drink our gross drinks. Well, we saw her talking about us with the other servers and then the manager. Eventually, we flagged her down to get our checks, thinking we wouldn't pay for the drinks. When she came over she offered us different drinks, but we were already planning on leaving! Ugh. So we asked to have the drinks removed from the checks, which she sadi she couldn't do so we asked to talk to the manager. By this time Josh was at the restaurant to pick us up so we didn't have to walk back. Well, the manager was being super rude! He actually stormed off in a huff after we tried to reason with him. So we paid and left, but Josh plans to call his supervisor and get something about it. I hope so, it never pays to be that rude and the guy had perfect authority to remove the drinks but didnt because he was all up on a power trip.

So the day was good, but the evening turned it a little sour. O well. I have delicious left-overs for work today. :)
